- Because nobody will be staring at their cellphones, they’ll actually be talking to each other
- Because you have the rest of your life to putter around the house
- Because getting older sucks, but it’s not as bad when you do it with friends from high school
- Because the LHHS Class of ’76 was truly a special group and fifty years later, it still is

Because there’s a fair to middlin’ chance that some old guy will streak the buffet line
Because for five blissful hours you won’t have to think about where you left your reading glasses, cellphone or what you came into the kitchen for
Because you won’t have to worry about “looking good” – none of us see that well anymore anyway
Because everybody you encounter will be wearing a name tag, just like it should be at every Thanksgiving
